Gorillas
Gorillas are the largest living primates. They are ground-dwelling herbivores, who live mostly in Central Africa. The gorillas are divided into 2 species, the ground-dwellers and the mountain-dwellers. Their DNA is 98%-99% similar to human DNA. Gorilla's are the next closet relatives to humans after the chimpanzee.
Gorillas are large, quiet, and gentle apes that live in Africa. They can weigh up to 400 pounds, and be as tall as 5.6 feet. People think Gorillas are aggressive and dangerous killers, but in reality, gorillas are shy and peaceful vegetarians. Because of massive loss of habitat, gorillas are at risk of extinction.
